Shooto "Rookies" has established itself as a young talent promotion event of Shooto Germany. After having successfully held three events in Reutlingen, Grünsfeld will be the venue for the next event on December 7.
On the official Smoothcomp page of the event already diligently entries trundle in and one may be prepared for exciting fights also at this event. Organizer Martin Vath from the "Alphafighters" in Grünsfeld is pleased about the lively participation at the event.
As usual, "Rookies" is aimed primarily at newcomers to amateur Shooto who want to gain their first experience in the cage. Shorter round times and the prohibition of particularly injury-prone techniques (knee strikes to the head, heel hooks) are a guarantee that you can make your first steps in Shooto in a safe framework.
That this slow build-up of talented fighters is the right way to go is shown by the successes of German athletes in the amateur field at national, continental and global level, where 2019 was arguably the best year yet for German athletes on the international stage.
Interested teams and fighters can still register until 04 December via the Smoothcomp page for the event register. Membership of an association is not required.
