SHOOTO KINGS IX: Sengoku - Top fighters signed up

Shooto Kings

SHOOTO KINGS IX: Sengoku on Dec. 10, 2022 is picking up tremendous steam. Matchmaker Peter Angerer has in the past 48 hours some promising fighters from Belgium, France and Georgia for the top event of Shooto Germany can win. So far, three Shidokan world champions and Shooto Kings veterans are already on the fight card and the field is getting stronger.

Unbeaten Georgian Nika Kupravishvili in Main Event

Nika Kupravishvili

Shidokan World Champion Sven "Fujin" Fortenbacher from the German Top Team HQ will meet a more than worthy opponent in the main event of the evening: Nika Kupravishvili is undefeated in amateur and professional MMA and is internationally experienced. A tough nut for the man from Reutlingen, however, Sven has never disappointed in his two appearances at Shooto Kings so far. Both the Shidokan kickboxing world champion Anatolij Ihnato from Ukraine, as well as the highly favored and much more experienced Italian Emanuele Zardo he could beat against all doubts and bring stable victories for himself.

Kupravishvili is the next yardstick against which the Shooto star from the Reutlingen German Top Team will be measured and a win in this fight should probably mean the plane ticket to Japan for Sven to face bigger tasks there. His always numerous fans should therefore secure a ticket to cheer and support Sven in this important fight against an opponent of this class.

Shidokan Triathlon World Champion Yuli Nagata is on board

He is a man who is known and feared in Japan: the KO specialist Yuli Nagata from Belgium usually ends the fights in the first round and usually with a crashing KO. His flying knee usually ends the dreams of victory of his opponents abruptly and quickly. The All Japan Open winner and Shidokan Triathlon World Champion 2019 (Kuwait) has prepared intensively together with top fighters from the German Top Team in the summer and now wants to wipe out his so far only points defeat in MMA.

A win is needed and he will most likely face a strong Frenchman from Parabellum Combat Club. More details about Yuli's appearance will follow in the next few days, but we are very happy to have the likeable serial knockouter on our fightcard.

World No. 3 Grigory Vinitsky meets Georgian opponent

He is the epitome of a true fighter and samurai: Grigori Winizki from the Samurai Fight Team Leipzig multiple European and World Champion in Shidokan Karate and Shidokan Kickboxing. There is hardly a major event where he has not already caused a sensation and he was also in the summer at the HELL WEEK in the German Top Team to make himself strong for upcoming tasks at the end of the year.

This task now faces him at SHOOTO KINGS IX: Sengoku in the form of Georgian MMA professional Nika Bregvadze. Grigori will be in fine form as always in the Octagon and will present his fans with a massive dose of "Samurai Spirit" and he will certainly need the support of his fans in this international showdown.

Heavyweight cracker with KO power

In order to provide already in the pre-program times for correct tendency, two correct KO machines were engaged in the heavyweight. The "Sandman" from the German Top Team Erhan Günes meets the colossus Julius Gebele from Atlas Gym Heilbronn.

Both heavyweights have a huge fan base because there is never a dull moment in their fights. And you shouldn't blink, because both have already proven that they have enough KO power to end a fight with just one punch. In this match it will almost certainly not go over time and the spectators can look forward to a duel between two grade A KO sluggers.

The Advance ticket sales is now open online and the beautiful Gym 24 Lifestyle in Herrenberg will provide a fantastic backdrop for the event. So there are only four rows of seats around the Octagon and you sit a maximum of 6-7 meters away from the Octagon.
