Shooto 2023 with strong field of participants

Next Saturday fly in the German Top Team Performance Center at Gym 24 Lifestyle in Herrenberg the fists again. Shooto Germany blows the horn with a double event and finally opens the 2023 season. Both at "Rookies", as well as with "Contenders" the amateurs and semi-pros will compete on Saturday and fight for the first in the Shooto ranking.

Deadline for both events in two days

For both events fighters can still register up to and including Wednesday at 23:59 and be present at the fights. We are looking for at least one fighter in the heavyweight D-class at "Rookies". Just have a look at our Federation platform at Smoothcomp and register for the fights by Wednesday night at the latest.

Mays vs. Amoev in the main fight

The B-Class Semi Pro fight between Matthew Mays (Kenan Academy Würzburg) and Josif Amoev (Samurai Fight Team Leipzig) is the main event of the event on Saturday. Both fighters are more than well known in the Shooto scene in Germany. Mays finished 3rd at the Shooto European Championships in Holland last year and also took the silver medal at the German Championships in December.

This secured him promotion to the B class at Shooto Germany. Amoev already feels right at home there, as he has won both of his B-Class fights early so far. At Contenders he won against Patrick Bissinger by TKO, before he won at SHOOTO KINGS IX then sent Frenchman Noel Nyuting to the boards in round 1.

Both fighters are extremely good technically and are fighting towards an early victory. We are excited to see how Mays will fare against Amoev in the B class and fans will undoubtedly be in for a thrilling main event fight, ringing in the Shooto 2023 season with a treat.

Tickets for spectators only available online

Of course, spectators are also allowed at the event and can watch all the fights live in the hall on the spot from 2 pm all day. Tickets are only available for purchase online until Saturday morning. All tickets are e-tickets and will not be shipped. After successful reservation and payment, the tickets are stored in the system and can be picked up on Saturday from 13:30 at the box office.
