"Rising Sun" is coming! The lockdown has us all in its grip! Curfews, travel restrictions, closed martial arts schools and most importantly - a lot of fear and uncertainty! In the current situation, many of us are drifting into negativity of thought and lack motivation for just about anything. The situation seems hopeless and overwhelming. Instead of being in ...
Instead of getting into this "downward spiral" and seeing no way out, I'm more the kind of person who in such situations - where you literally have your "back to the wall" - takes the forward march. It can go only forward! It MUST go forward! Everyone needs something to prepare for and believe in. What gives hope. A new goal!
The sun will rise again! From this image in my head, the idea for "Rising Sun" was born. An event in which EVERYONE - regardless of affiliation to an association or organization - can participate. Whether as an official, fighter, sponsor, advertising partner or general supporter. It is important to set an example. It is essential to send a message! I do this with a professional and top sports event under exclusion of the public, which will be broadcast worldwide via livestream! "Rising Sun" makes the sun rise again for you!
Rising Sun - the idea
A martial arts event, which is officially supported by the associations Shidokan Germany, Shooto Germany and ADCC Germany. An event that shows everything! Amateur and professional Shooto, grappling, kickboxing and full contact karate. Fights that are seen worldwide and with which the actors and initiators send a clear signal to the world! Also in Germany there are athletes who pursue their profession and passion even during the lockdown in the pandemic. Athletes who give hope to others and set an example to persevere. "Yamatodamashii" (大和魂), the indomitable Fighting Spirit of the Japanese, is the thought that carries the event. Never give up! Always keep going! Never back down!
If not we fighters lead by example and give hope to our fellow men, then who? And the title "Rising Sun" should show that the sun will rise again for all of us! Things will get better again and we will find a way back into our lives.
Events in professional and elite sports are still possible under strict conditions and I make it feasible for all of us. In compliance with all Regulations and ordinances of the state of Baden-Württemberg for professional and elite sports we will realize fights of professional and elite athletes.
How can you participate and support?
There are almost no limits to the possibilities of participation and support of the project. Not only the fighters and teams are needed here, because it is also necessary in this difficult time to provide the logistics and planning of the event smoothly.
But opportunities are also to be created for companies and sponsors to get involved. Be it through advertising in the social media and networks, the websites or even in the livestream itself. Even as a supporter, you can generate an image gain and added value for your company or project here. Join us in Contact! We will answer any request within 24 hours!
