Rising Sun II: Southside Connection

Rising Sun II is coming up. On Saturday, 24.07.2021 will be held in the Gym 24 in Böblingen with the support of the Gothaer Insurance and SportsGermany.TV another piece of German grappling history will be written, when for the first time a team championship in the "Grappling Team Survival Match" will be held according to the Japanese model. After the team duel between Fight Fusion Regensburg and the German Top Team was the absolute crowd-puller at Rising Sun I and attracted over 1,900 spectators live in front of the screens, the second event will go one better in many respects.

5 teams will compete in a knockout system and at the end of the evening only one team will leave the mat undefeated as the first Rising Sun Team Champion. Among the participants are numerous German champions of various federations, as well as numerous international title holders and even European champions in BJJ.
