Crashing end of the year at "Rookies IV" in Grünsfeld

Martin Vath and his "Alpha Fighters" have done a great job yesterday. Shooto "Rookies IV" was perfectly organized from the first to the last minute and offered the present fighters from 10 teams from Germany and Belgium a great stage to gain their first experience in the Cage. There were also very well-known teams, such as the famous Stallions Gym Stuttgart, represented and provided with a whole army of strong young talent for proper action in the fights.

However, it was the local "Alpha Fighters" who prevailed in the team ranking in the end and took the overall victory as "Best Team" with 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals ahead of the strong fighters of the "Stallion Gym".

Shooto Germany President Peter Angerer was enthusiastic about the high technical level, which could already be seen in these newcomer fights. Especially with the teams, which are seen more often at amateur Shooto events, one could observe a constant increase in level. In total, of the 33 matches that were seen, only 16 went over time and so there were many good KOs and submissions to admire.
