"Submission Only" in Jiu-Jitsu and Grappling is the name of the game again this coming Sunday, when the infamous Interclub Tournament of the German Top Team will be held for the 5th time at the HQ in Reutlingen. More than 120 starts are registered for this day so far and fighters from affiliated and friendly teams of the GTT from all over Germany and Switzerland are expected. The simple set of rules, under which the goal is clearly the surrender of the opponent, allows for fast-paced and exciting fights.
For the first time on Sunday, the brown and black belts in BJJ and Luta Livre are also at the start, but especially in the beginner classes are full fields of participants. As usual, on Sunday from 12 weighed and already from 13 clock the fights begin, which are expected to last until late evening.
As a very special treat, some of the registered competitors may participate in one of the rare seminars of Professor Franco Vacirca (5th Dan BJJ) from 10 am. To learn from the first BJJ Blackbelt in Europe is an enormous incentive for many of the participants and the places for the seminar were taken within a few hours.
So we can expect a great fight day in the German Top Team HQ in Reutlingen next Sunday and we are looking forward to our guests!
