The German Top Team NRW under the direction of Blackbelt Florian Lenz is still on the road to success. Especially in Holland, the team is much on BJJ competitions on the road and so they were active last start at the Veluwe Open BJJ Championships in Ede on the mat. A total of 12 competitors provided the team around the coaches Nadine and Florian Lenz and for the first time were also quite a few children from Neukirchen-Vluyn at the start.
With a total of 4 silver and 2 bronze medals, the athletes of the German Top Team an incredibly strong 8th place in the team ranking among over 35 placed teams. Especially the kids were busy collecting medals in their classes and so Feenya Körner, Noah Straube, Tayler Heidbüchl and Thorid Fülling stood on the podium in the kids classes. Among the adults, it was again the hardworking Isabell Thelen who scored points for the team with bronze in her weight class and silver in the Open Class.
