Teams from Switzerland, Austria, France and all over Germany made yesterday Shooto "Rookies VII" a truly international event and it is nice to see how the Shooto family in our area is growing more and more. With well over 30 fights, yesterday's event once again offered a great fight card for all involved, even though due to Corona there were no spectators on site in the German Top Team were allowed by the organizer.
Eugen Braun's Fightskool Kempten stood out in particular, taking 1st place in the team classification with two gold medals won by Denis Snegur and Daniel Schevchuk. From the legendary Suum Cuique Mainz, Fight Fever Bruchsal to the Hammers Team Nuremberg were also quite a few well-known schools from Germany at the start and were in competition with the internationally represented schools, such as the renowned @ATCH Team (France), the Europe Top Team (France) and MMA IBK (Austria).
Simultaneously with yesterday's event, the official German Shooto Ranking List after two years of inactivity by Corona switched active again. The events from 2020 and the previous competitions from 2022 were included in the ranking and currently provide a clear picture of the current fighter and team situation in Germany.
