The results of the South German Championships

It was a crashing season opener made to measure. The 4th South German Championships of the amateurs in Shooto showed today from crisp KOs, elegant submissions to tight point decisions the entire range of the sport in exciting fights. Even a fighter from France made the journey to Reutlingen to gain his first experience in Shooto. Nevertheless, the Combatcenter Lüneburg had the longest journey. The men around Herdcoach Marco Schneider drove almost 700 km to repeat and underpin their impressive performance of the last German Championships at these official championships.

For the first time today also in the new protective equipment of OKAMI Fightgear fought, which Shooto Germany has now introduced for all competitions. Soon the complete series is also available on for the athletes in the webshop of OKAMI Fightgear, so that the athletes can also train in the equipment.

In addition to the medals and placings, three special trophies were again awarded:

Best Technician: Matthew Mays (i-Pensa Academy Würzburg)
Best Knockout/Submission: Edis Bayraktar (Munich MMA)
Samurai Spirit: Ste Drammis (KSE MMA Reutlingen)
