The BGC supported ADCC

Germany's oldest and most iconic submission-only tournament - the Babenhauser Grappling Challenge (BGC) - had to be postponed this year. Actually planned for 20.07., a new date was set due to renovation work on the hall, which has now been announced. The ninth edition of the classic will now take place on 14.09. in Babenhausen. Information about registration can be found on the Facebook event.

Organizer Daniel Brauchle took the date change calmly and as an occasion to provide the ADCC German Open Championships with another "treat". Daniel, who himself competes at the ADCC events in Germany, offered that ALL winners of the Adult classes at ADCC get the entry fee for the BGC IX on 14.09. for free. A generous offer, which was gladly and gratefully accepted by ADCC Germany.

The participants of the ADCC German Open Championships on 27.07. in Reutlingen can therefore look forward to not only medals and certificates as winners, but also a free start at the BGC in September.

So far, more than 200 participants from 20 nations worldwide are already registered for participation, including athletes from Kuwait, Iran and the USA. The ADCC German Open Championships will certainly be one of the strongest No-Gi Grappling tournaments of the year in Germany and one can look forward to numerous exciting fights.

At www.sportdeutschland.tv the fights are broadcast live on all mats and also the recordings can be watched for free for an unlimited time. Thus, the tournament reaches a large international reach and fan base.
