ADCC Germany plans open "Super Series" with prize money

ADCC Germany has broken attendance records this year for both the annual Open and the Nationals. The demand for the events in Germany is huge and especially the professional preparation with own free Livestream and photographers, as well as the almost minute organization, is probably decisive for this.

OPEN SUPER SERIES

In order to continue to raise the sport to a professional level in Germany, ADCC Germany is now launching another event series: the Open Super Series. The tournaments are open to grapplers of all ages and skill levels from all over the world. As usual, the winners will receive Custom ADCC medals, as well as Championship Rings and Championship Belts for the winners of ALL Professional Divisions.

Prize money

In addition, the winners of all Adult Professional Divisions will receive prize money of 250€. A first small step in the right direction, because in this country, too, the sport absolutely must become more professional and create small financial incentives for the athletes, at least initially.

First event in October

The first event of the series will take place on 01.10.2022 in Herrenberg. Two events of this series should take place in the year and prepare the athletes for the Open and Nationals. An announcement with corresponding registration options will follow in the next few days.

Free start for ADCC German Open Champions

To promote the champions of the past ADCC German Open Championships, the winners of all Professional classes will be able to compete for free. In this case, the champions should register at the tournament without payment and then write a message to angerer@german-top-team.com to be manually unlocked without payment.
